Now, more than ever, it’s a great time to consider joining a credit union. Dan Berger, President and CEO of NAFCU – National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions breaks down why he thinks credit unions are the best choice.

First reason to join a credit union, it's not a bank.
So the individual member
actually owns the institution. Which means you can actually run for the board
and be part of that organization and have input in what they're doing.
So credit unions really take care of the members and really look out for the American consumer.
That's the number one reason.
Number two, the low interest rates on
loan products, as well as a higher rate of return on savings. Everybody's looking
for the best deal. Credit unions always have the best deal.
