Millions of Americans have been juggling work and family obligations during this challenging time. Our PenFed colleague Melissa Munoz describes how maintaining a daily routine has helped her family.
Juggling Work and Family
My name is Melissa Munoz, Senior Executive Administrator and Board of Directors Liaison, here at PenFed.
I have four children. Two who live at home. Two have graduated from college and live on their own. Navigating through COVID-19 and with the two younger kids at home, one in high school and one in junior high, has been extremely challenging.
At home we practice new routines to keep them entertained. The things that we were taking for granted we’re now appreciating those times.
My children at home seeing me go into the office, they feel safe.
It’s very limited where we can go, so coming to a safe sound place here at PenFed has really helped me and I think will help others. I think it’s important for us to get back to work, to have a routine, to be able to continue to provide to ourselves and to our members.
