Gold Star Mother, Judy Faunce honors her son, Brian Faunce, Army Captain and a Company Commander each year on National Wreaths Across America Day. The patriotism and support our country shows for the families that have lost so much remains within the Wreaths Across America’s mission of Remember, Honor, Teach.
Judy Faunce: Gold Star Mother
My son was born on Veteran’s Day. So I in a lot of ways, I believe that he was born to be a soldier.
Brian knew at the age of 12 what he wanted. That he wanted to be in the military, he wanted to be an officer.
You know, I applied to journey with the convoy in 2016, and it was it was everything I had hoped it would be.
The lump in your throat and the warmth in your heart and the tears in your eyes to know that all of our servicemen and women are respected and admired and not forgotten,
that’s the mission of Wreaths Across America.
As you drive in the convoy through the towns and the people come out, you know that patriotism is alive and well.
